太氣拳インテンシブセミナー　〜後編武魂注入＠香取・鹿島

８；３０に誠心舘のお二人をホテル前にてピックアップ。向かうは、武道の神様が鎮座する香取神宮・鹿島神宮。この地は兵法三大源流の一つ「神道流」が生まれた地でもある。すなわち、日本武道の源流に触れる旅。
我々の修行する太氣拳は中国武術である意拳が基になっている。創始者・澤井健一宗師は日本武道の高段者であり、王向斎老師に意拳を学ぶ過程で「氣の力＝混元力」を核心に据えた武を練り上げ、戦後、太氣拳を創始した。帰国して他流試合を戦う中で、澤井宗師の「氣の力」の表現、すなわちその外形は日本の格闘技文化に対応するものになった、と思われる。そういう意味で、宗師の太氣拳とは、日本武術の技法に意拳の練功で筋金を入れた武術である、という側面もあろうと思う。
私としては太氣拳を和魂漢才の拳であり、日本の武道であると考えている。しかるに、日本に太氣拳を学びに来られる海外の方々には、武道文化の一端でもお見せするのが筋と考えている。

同じ関東地方とは言え、香取・鹿島までは遠い！優に３時間はかかる。ということで、私も偉そうなことを言っても参拝するのは年に１度か２度。海外のお客さんが来た時が、その絶好の機会ではある。

We went to two famous shrines of Katori (Chiba pref.) and Kashima (Ibaraki pref.) where the Gods of Budo (martial arts) are enshrined. This is NOT just a sightseeing. The objective of this trip is to empower ourselves by visiting the birthplace of Japanese Budo.
There are three main stream of Ken-jutsu (Sword technique in Japan) i.e. Shinto-ryu, Kage-ryu, and Nen-ryu. Shin to-ryu Style Ken-jutsu was born in the area of Katori/Kashima.
Taiki-ken originate from a Chinese Martial Art Yi Quan, however, Sawai Sensei, a founder of Taiki-ken, was high-grade practitioner of Japanese martial arts such as Judo, Kendo, and Iaido, before he practice Yi Quan in China. Afetr the World War II, he came back to Japan, and founded Taiki-ken. Sawai Sensei tried his skill in match against practitioners from various styles of martial arts in Japan. Accordingly, his martial art (Taiki-ken) was sophisticated so that he can deal easily with the opponents in Japan.
So, I think Taiki-ken is the martial art of Japan to cultivate so-called "Japanese spirit imbued with Chinese learning". Therefore, I think we as Budo-practitioners in Japan have to feel and learn from the history and the philosophy of the Budo in Japan. That is why I bring the Budo colleague to those two shrines.

奥宮にむかう途中にある要石。地震を起こす大ナマズを抑え込んでいるという。アマテラスの命を受けて、香取の経津主大神（フツヌシノオオカミ）、鹿島の武甕槌大神（タケミカズチノオオカミ）の二柱の武神がそれぞれ頭、尾を要石にて抑え込み、鎮めたという伝説がある。武を行ずる者としては和魂を祀る本殿だけではなく、要石、そして荒魂を祀る奥宮をも御参りするのが、筋であります。

In this area, the story of "The Keystones" has been passed down intergenerationally. There was a very big catfish who caused earthquakes so often. Therefore, AMATERASU, the highest God ordered two gods of Katori and Kashima to suppress the Catfish. At that time the god of Katori put a keystone on the head of catfish, and the god of Kashima put a keystone on the tail to calm it down.

・・・という趣旨をお伝えしたのだが、ワシの英語ではきちんと伝わったかどうか、不安ではある（汗）
I am little bit anxious if my English ability is good enough to let them understand the story.

一応そんな堅い話もしつつ、本殿に向かう。手水の作法を教え、つつがなき夏越しを祈念して一人ずつ茅の輪をくぐる。ブノワさん、嬉しそうやね。
At the main shrine, we did the traditional ceremony of prayer to overcome the severe weather in the summer.

何しろ関東有数のパワースポットでもあり、武徳の神が鎮座する場所。そのひとつひとつが珍しくて５ｍごとに止まる彼らをなだめすかし、一路鹿島へと向かう。
After Katori shrine, we sent to Kashima shrine.

神官教育施設「稽照館」跡地。古事記の冒頭にある「稽古照今（けいこしょうこん。いにしえをかんがえ、いまをてらす）」からその名が由来している。なお、我々武道人が日常口にする「稽古」の語源です。・・・というお話をお伝えしたが、ワシの英語力では伝わったかどうだか、心配である（涙）。
The ruin of the academy for shinto priest named "Keisho-kan". The name came from the word "Keiko-shokon" which is shown in Kojiki, the oldest history book of Japan. It means to think over the ancient event so that we can illuminate the present times. The word "Keiko" which is used for the practice of traditional arts, comes from above-mentioned word shown in Kojiki.

で、鹿島神宮の由緒ね。

こちらではまず本殿におわす和魂をお参り。宝物殿を拝観して、ふとご祈祷所に寄ると神棚発見。ヤニックが自分の道場に神棚飾ると言っていたが、いかんせんお値段が￥15,000するので、小山のお店と比べて逡巡していたが、このお値段に正式な御祈祷が含まれていると判明。鹿島神宮でご祈祷していただいた神棚備えている道場なんて、欧州にいくつもないのだからここで購入しろ！とおススメ。大興奮するヤニック。役得で？私とブノワも参列。よかったねぇ。
In the ceremony hall of the shrine, we found miniature shrine that Yannick-san was searching as a stuff of his Dojo. We are so lucky that we can experience the traditional ceremony by the shinto priest of Kashima Jingu shrine to empower the miniature shrine.

夏越しの大祓の一日前の参拝だったからこそ、の僥倖だね。一日違っていたら、とてもそんな余裕はなかった。

静かな並木道を通りここでも要石と奥宮を訪れ、荒魂のご加護を賜り、武魂注入の儀式は無事終了！！一路、栃木に向かい夜の稽古を行いましたとさ。
